I have already shared our gorgeous wedding video on The Leo Style (FB) & my YouTube channel, so as you can imagine I am dying with excitement to be able to share our gorgeous wedding video on the blog! We cannot believe how viral it’s gone. I just want to thank you all for the warm comments and beautiful messages we have received!
Thank you, thank you & thank you again.
I expected a few tears of happiness, I did not however, expect a flood of emotion so strong it would leave me sobbing helplessly. Embraced in my husbands arms, we revisited the 23 of January 2015, our ‘Surprise Wedding’ day, remembering every moment as if it were yesterday.
Our special day was filmed by Matt Evans from Keepsake Wedding Films, we are so over the moon with the end result. With all the chaos and so much going on Matt and his team were almost invisible, blending into the background, no imposing camera, just a shadow here and there. Keepsake Wedding Films didn’t just film my wedding day, they told the story of my day as it unfolded. Encapsulating emotions that moved us and provoked us to tears. A cinematic collection of wonderful memories that years from now we will be sharing with our, children’s, children’s, children, over hot cups of tea and biscuits.

If you haven’t considered hiring a wedding videographer then I hope that this post inspires you to at a least do your research on the benefits of hiring one, and if you are getting married in NZ then I highly recommend you contact Matt and his talented team. Even though I had one of NZ’s finest photographer’s Emily Roper from Clipic Photography & Video our wedding day meant too much to leave to photography alone. They say a picture can tell a thousand words, and they most definitely do, but a wedding film lets you be a fly on the wall and watch all the things you miss. Last but not least, a wedding video also meant so much to our friends and family who couldn’t be present. It was so comforting to know that we were able to share our day with loved ones living on opposite sides of the world.

Sharing my wedding video with you all meant so much to me. I feel my readership & my followers have been so incredibly supportive during some really tough experiences I have had in life, I am forever grateful for that. I hope by sharing this video I can show you that true love does exist, that one day you will meet a man, woman, or even the ‘bae’ that will be brave enough to show you what is holding you back in life, help you tear down walls and build solid foundations to go forth in life’s journey together.
Thank you Keepsake Wedding Films, your wedding films are magical!
