Sadly, this day was our last at the 5-star, luxury accommodation that is the Sofitel Wellington. Someone take me back already!!!

If you’ve been to the Sofitel Wellington you will know exactly where I am standing, the intimate alfresco courtyard of course. Instagrammer @Chloe Zara_ was the first to throw-up a post standing ever so glamorously in the courtyard and since it’s become an iconic Instagram shot, in other words...’if you didn’t get a photo here, did you actually stay at Sofitel Wellington’ ?!?!

In this post I’ve teamed up with New Zealand designer label, Liann Bellis wearing a beautiful piece from their Summer 2017 Collection. When trying to achieve summer dress perfection I have 3 personal-style tips, I hope you find them handy.

  1. The dress needs to be comfortable. Especially fabric. Linen and cotton are my top picks for fabric options in warmer seasons.
  2. It needs to have the right hemline for my body shape.
  3. Have a casual-tailored look, yet feel gorgeously airy and beautifully feminine.

The drape and fall of the The Martines Dress I am wearing below will suit most, if not, all body types. Below I paired this number with my Extravagance Point summer-booties from Andrea Moore. Recently I also wore this dress with espadrilles, another stylish shoe option. What I love about this piece is its versatility and its ability to cover just about any dress code when teamed with the right footwear and accessories.

I’ve got my eye on a few more designs from Liann Bellis, here’s praying Santa *cough, cough…husband* thinks I’ve been a good-girl this year.

P.S My shoes from Andrea Moore are currently on sale! Your welcome! xx

Thank you to Liann Bellis and Andrea Moore for collaborating with me on this summer wardrobe post!

Until next,

See you, love you, BYE!
