So excited to show you these special captures Jenny from Lovemiphoto and Jenny Pochatrenko Photography shot on Mothers Day. We were delighted when Jenny asked if she could shoot our little family, being quite overdue for some professional family shots. My little men are forever growing and changing and I like to take advantage of the time we share together, capture as many memories and stories that make up all the chapters of our legacy. Documenting my family love-story is my most favourite thing to do, and to do that on a day like Mothers Day was such a treat! Jenny is all about natural light and capturing genuine emotions, the only word I can use to describe her photography is ethereal. I will let you in on a little secret, we are shooting some magic again soon, stay tuned!
My little tribe and I were photographed at one of the most distinctive wedding venues in New Zealand on the Kapiti Coast, known as The Milk Station. A historical venue and in my opinion an absolutely magical place which is said to be inspired by the Paris Railway Station. A little back-story for you, Isaac and I actually planned to marry here, it was the first and only venue we visited. We knew from the moment we set foot on the grounds it reflected us as a couple and everything we wanted for our dream wedding. Our date and venue was booked, however, over the next month or so, Isaac and I’s hearts started stirring, we really wanted to marry sooner. We contacted The Milk Station and let them know about our wishes to bump up the wedding (by an entire year). Sadly, our date was taken. Although our hearts were a little torn we trusted our instincts to bring the date forward. The Milk Station team were so very understanding, we felt nothing but support from our initial enquiry right throughout the entire process, start to finish. Fortunately, several months after we were introduced to the owners of a stunningly-gorgeous, jaw-dropping private estate in Eastbourne (we like to call this a moment of serendipity). This exclusive property would become our new wedding venue, it was meant to be! Especially when the owners said us marrying there would be a one-off exception, how romantical.
I am never any good at choosing the best photos to post, and while I would’ve liked to post all 300 of them, I understand you all have lives of your own you need to get back to (lol). And so, the boys have together chosen their favourites, we hope you love them! PS. Are you due for a family photo shoot? What are you waiting for?
See you, love you, BYE!
